FAQ

Will the clips damage my plant's stems?

The rounded mouth spreads the pressure along the branch instead of pinching one point. Bend gradually, and move the clip outward as the stem thickens.

Which plants are the clips for?

Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, climbers and houseplants with stems up to 3/8 inch thick.

Can I reuse them next season?

Yes. Wash the clips and the wire with soap and water and store them for next season. Every product carries a 12-month warranty.

How do I fix a broken branch with the repair tape?

Line the stem up straight, wrap it firmly with each turn overlapping the last, and press the end to seal. The tape sticks only to itself, not to the plant, so it comes off clean. Leave it on until the break holds on its own.

What size grow bag do I need?

Tomatoes, potatoes and large peppers: 5 to 10 gallons. Herbs, peppers and seedlings: 1 gallon.

Do the seed starting cups need a tray?

They drain through the bottom, so indoors set them on a tray or saucer to catch the water. The raised base keeps the roots out of standing water.
